The operator of Zaporozhye NPP spoke about the progress of the plant

MOSCOW, 11 Oct — PRIME. JSC “Operating Organization of Zaporozhye NPP” has started working with the personnel at the plant, said the general director of the organization Oleg Romanenko at a meeting with the acting governor of the Zaporizhzhya region Yevgeny Balitsky.

On Tuesday, Balitsky held a meeting with Romanenko and adviser to the general director of the Rosenergoatom concern, Renat Karchaa.

“Now we are working with the personnel at the station in terms of organizational issues, hiring, organizing logistics, establishing all other types of interaction in order to ensure, first of all, the safe and reliable operation of the station. An equally important issue is the life support of the city of Energodar,” — Romanenko said.

Balitsky noted that now the management company will deal with all issues at the station.

“We have been waiting for this decision for a very long time, realizing that the Nazi regime of Ukraine will not leave us alone, and the nuclear power plant is a very important facility on the scale not only of our region, but of the whole world. All the necessary assistance from the regional government will be provided, and the plant will begin to work in the interests of the Zaporozhye region and all of Great Russia,” the acting governor emphasized.
