The Pentagon did not receive requests for assistance in the investigation of the incident on gas pipelines
WASHINGTON, Oct 3 – PRIME The US military has not received requests from European countries for assistance in investigating the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline breaches, a senior Pentagon official told reporters.
Biden called “deliberate sabotage” the reason for the breakthrough of “Nord Stream”
“As far as I know, we were not asked to provide any specific funds through the Ministry of Defense,” the military said.
He recalled that Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin offered to help the US military in a recent conversation with a colleague from Denmark.
US officials say a “deliberate sabotage” caused the pipeline that exports Russian gas to Europe to burst, and deny any involvement in it.
