The new Radeon RX 5500 XT are starting to hit stores. Availability is small and certainly the pre-Christmas period does not help, but the new video cards dedicated to AMD's Full HD are arriving in stores.
As we saw in our review of the 4 GB model, the new Navi 14 GPU-based solution offers performance in line with the GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER, therefore it allows you to play in Full HD at high details with most of the video games.
The RX 5500 XT consumes very little and the cards should not be noisy at all – at least based on our experience with the Sapphire Pulse. As we wrote in the review, AMD's proposal has a price – for the time being – which we believe is higher than it should.
The GTX 1650 SUPER is sold on average for 180-200 euros, while the RX 5500 XT starts at 210 euros. The presence of a bundle with Monster Hunter World: IceBorn and three months of Xbox Game Pass increases the value of the AMD card, even if the perceived value changes according to personal preferences.
If you are interested in the product anyway or want a Radeon video card because you are as comfortable as AMD's solutions, you can find the RX 5500 XT – currently only Sapphire – on Eprice and Next. Availability is not high, in fact a model on Next is not currently available:
