MOSCOW, 2 Oct — PRIME. Most often, push-button phones are used as spares, as some models can work without recharging for a month. In an interview with the Prime agency, the head of the Center for Digital Expertise of Roskachestvo, Sergey Bodrov, told what you should pay attention to when choosing a push-button gadget.
First of all, when choosing it is necessary to take into account the needs of a particular user, he noted. “For example, if a person needs a phone purely for calls, then you should pay attention to the number of SIM cards, and the quality of the photo on the camera can be ignored. Although, in general, the photos on such phones are of medium or low quality, and the display diagonal is in any case very small “, – said the source of the agency.
It is also worth studying such characteristics as battery capacity and choosing a device with the greatest autonomy, which can hold a charge for a long time both with active use and in the off state.
But it is important to understand from the outset that such phones are inferior in convenience to smartphones, Bodrov added.
“In fact, all the same functions as in a regular smartphone. The obvious disadvantages are a small screen and typing through buttons, which can take extra time,” the expert explained.
There are also pluses. For example, a removable battery: if something happens to it, it is easy to replace it. It is also convenient that you can take an extra battery with you, and then in a minute you get a phone with a 100% charge level. “A considerable advantage is the low cost of such devices and durability. In the event of a breakdown, it will not be very expensive to purchase a new device. People with poor eyesight can note a separate plus, since it is easier to type text and a number due to the presence of buttons,” summed up the representative of Roskachestvo.
