So a price ceiling for some product is crazy,” Ebert said, commenting on the introduction of a price ceiling for Russian oil. However, he pointed out that the introduction of this restriction looks like a continuation of economic wars, like those that the United States is waging with Venezuela, Cuba and Iran.

At the same time, Ebert questioned Washington’s ability to control the origin of oil supplies.

“Will we fight India? I somehow doubt it, because there are countries in the world that are with us – the EU, Japan, and there is the rest of the world, that is, two-thirds of the world’s population. Theoretically, I don’t know how they will follow,” the analyst said.
