Coinbase Wallet Director Sid Coelho-Prabhu announced on the blog that Coinbase wallet users will be able to borrow cryptocurrencies and earn interest.
The feature will be available through the WalletLink application on the desktop. The wallet link is the DeFi script that allows users to connect to DeFi applications.
The system is described as simple to use – select a borrower currency, select the desired smart contract and enter the borrower amount.
Through the DeFi application, Coinbase wallet users can search for the best conditions offered by different providers. The loans are made through smart contracts and function automatically.
