While the entire progressive community applauds the harmonious stream of news about AMD’s plans and achievements, on the pages of the site DigiTimes the news about TSMC’s readiness to start releasing 3-nm Intel products in the second half of 2022 is treacherous. It is pertinent to remind that TSMC intends to start mass production of 3nm products in general during these terms, so Intel may be among the first customers.=

Recall that at the quarterly reporting event, the newly appointed CEO of Intel, Patrick Gelsinger, convinced investors that the company would not only master the independent production of 7-nm products, but would also invest in the development of more advanced lithographic technologies. Naturally, even if the information about TSMC’s involvement in the release of Intel 3nm central processors turns out to be reliable, this does not dismiss the likelihood of the company’s own production of the rest of the 3nm product range. The companies mentioned in the news would hardly have begun to publicly comment on their relationship at this stage, so it is not possible to verify this information now.
