Today Western Digital announced two new additions to its already popular gaming SSD, WD BLACK, el SSD WD BLACK SN850X NVMe y el SSD WD BLACK P40 Game Drive. Designed to enhance the gaming experience, WD offers gamers more options for upgrading their PC or console storage with these models.

The WD Black SSD SN850X NVMe features PCIe 4.0 x4 technology with sequential read speeds of up to 7,300 MBps and will be available in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacities. The 1TB and 2TB models bring a unique feature as they have an optional heatsink with included RGB lighting, perfect for PCs with that colorful focus that only RGB can give them.
The WD Black SSD P40 Game Drive is an external SSD that uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 (20 Gbps) connection that will be compatible with Windows Game Mode 2.0, feature that promises to increase performance when activated. It is worth mentioning that Game Mode 2.0 is also supported by the SN850X.
The estimated release date for the WD Black SSD SN850X NVMe is July this year, the 1TB version will cost US$189.99.while the price of the 2TB and 4TB versions has yet to be announced.
The P40 Game Drive SSD will retail for US$119.99 in its 500GB version1TB and 2TB versions will also be available.
