WhatsApp is testing a feature that will give group administrators more privileges

Another novelty is heading towards WhatsApp messenger. This time, thanks to it, group administrators will get permissions that allow them to delete messages sent by group members.

While WhatsApp allows us to delete chat messages, this functionality is limited to the user and group administrators cannot access it. In fact, they do not have it yet, because according to the latest information, work on it is already underway. The service noticed it WABetainfo. So we know that after deleting a message, there will be information visible to all group members that it was the administrator who deleted the entry.

The functionality is currently being tested, so we don’t know when it will go to all users. It is also not certain that it will go beyond the testing phase at all. However, it seems that WhatsApp has been developing this option recently. Some time ago, information appeared that the time allowed for deleting the message is to be extended. Currently it is 4096 seconds, but rumors say that the time limit has been lifted so that we can delete messages whenever we want.
