When the AMD Radeon HD 7970 set the Christmas mood

When AMD planned for the Radeon HD 7970, the aim was set for a launch in early 2012. However, the plan was adjusted at the last second, and the new date was fantastic December 22, 2011 – two days before Christmas Eve.
