Zelensky signed the law on the return of the excise tax on fuel
MOSCOW, 28 Sep — PRIME. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law returning excise duties on fuel canceled in March.
On Wednesday, the status of the document on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada changed to “Returned with the President’s signature.”
Earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, reported that the excise tax on gasoline, diesel and biofuel would be one hundred euros per thousand liters, and on gas – 52 euros for the same volume. VAT for all types of fuel will still be seven percent. At the same time, excise duty will not be levied for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
