Zotac releases water-cooled Geforce RTX 2080 Ti Arcticstorm

Nvidia’s latest flagship in graphics card setup is the Geforce RTX 2080 Ti, a package based on the company’s latest Turing architecture that normally takes up two card slots in the computer system. However, partner manufacturers can develop their own solutions that change these basic properties, something Zotac has done with the Geforce RTX 2080 Ti Arcticstorm.

One of the big news that sets Zotac’s cards apart from many competitors is that it is equipped with water cooling directly from the factory, in the form of its own Arcticstorm water block. This is equipped with fittings so it can be connected to users’ existing water cooling systems.

Its fittings consist of standard f 1/4 fittings. The water block is also equipped with copper-based microchannels for water flow of 0.3 millimeters. Energy supply takes place via 16 + 4 phases. For those who like to tailor the system’s aesthetic appearance, Zotac’s card is also equipped with LED-based lighting in the form of Spectra 2.0.

Finally, the card’s overclocking capacity can be controlled with the associated Firestorm software, where the card’s Spectra 2.0 lighting is also controlled. From the factory, the card comes with a boost frequency of 1,575 MHz, a marginal step up from the 1,545 MHz that Nvidia’s reference card is proud of.

The form factor of the card should also enable variants that only occupy one card slot in the system, but the product launched today occupies two card slots. Zotac Gaming Geforce RTX 2080 Ti Arcticstorm is available for purchase now at price tags of approximately SEK 18,500.
