Soon, Nvidia will release the partner manufacturers with their third-party coolers, which have undoubtedly become this year’s theme at Computex. One of those showing off its cards is Chinese Zotac and launches GTX 1080 in two different models, AMP Edition and the larger model AMP Extreme.
First out is the smaller model GTX 1080 AMP Edition with its own circuit board with 10 phases for power supply via two 8-pin connectors. The radiator is the company’s own Icestorm with double 100 millimeter fans, but also RGB lighting in three different areas.
The larger model goes by the name AMP Extreme, which includes a slightly larger cooler that requires 3 PCI slots and is equipped with three fans of 92 millimeters. RGB lighting makes a larger appearance with illuminated cover plate and five illuminated areas on the front.
At the time of writing, there is no set price or clock frequency on any of the cards, but the company aims to complete both models by the end of the week.
