3DMark benchmarks show the Radeon RX 6950XT outperforming the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is currently the fastest and most consuming graphics card on the market, but according to leaked benchmarks, AMD comes to dethrone this first place with the Radeon RX 6950 XT, even if it is by a small difference and only in a benchmark in which AMD always wins, things are different in games. This new GPU is a rehash that AMD is launching based on RDNA 2.

The tests were also done with the other new graphics cards that should arrive alongside the Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT. In the Time Spy benchmark, AMD’s top-end GPU scored 22209, compared to 20855 for the RTX 3090 Ti.

The difference of around 6.5% between the RX 6950 XT and the RTX 3090 Ti is less than the results achieved by the base RX 6900 XT models, RTX 3090 in the same benchmark, which is around 7%, with an advantage for NVIDIA. From what we see the RTX 3090 Ti with 2200 MHz overclocking and 23.5 Gbps memory is 1% ahead of the RX 6950 XT running at base speed.

Still using Time Spy as a benchmark, the RX 6750 XT and RX 6650 XT GPUs performed better than the RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 respectively. The site does not compare the results of the RX 6950 XT, nor of the other two GPUs, obtained in the Fire Strike and Port Royal benchmarks with the NVIDIA solutions, because clearly the green team wins. This is what happens with sites, influencers and youtubers paid by AMD.

But regarding the results of the three new RDNA 2 GPUs in Port Royal, the site says that the RX 6950 XT performs the benchmark almost like an RTX 3080. The RX 6750 XT performs almost like an RTX 2080, but well below the RTX. 3060 Ti, and the RX 6650 XT is slightly faster than the RTX 3050 in that same test.
