“500. That’s a mistake, there was a mistake. Please try again later.” Google Error
Many users have reported seeing the “500. That is an error. There was a mistake. Please try again later. That’s all we know.” error message that does not give any information about the error. Basically, this is an issue with Google when users try to access Google apps or websites. For example, this message appears in front of the user while trying to consult Google Calendar, Youtube, Google Images or Google Analytics. But this error can occur with any other Google service other than those mentioned.
If you are facing this error while trying to access any Google service then read this article. Here, we are suggesting some troubleshooting solutions that can help you resolve this Google error on your PC.
1. Open the Google Chrome browser.
2. Type chrome://settings/clearBrowserData in the address bar and tap Get into.
3. Go to Advanced tab on the Delete navigation data window that appears.
4. Use the dropdown menu next to the Time interval and choose All the time.
5. Be sure to check the options related to Browsing history, download history, cached images and files, and cookies.
6. Then click on the Delete data button.
7. Once the browser cache and cookies are cleared, relaunch the browser and check if you are seeing the error when accessing Google related services.
1. Type chrome://extensions and hit Get into in the address bar of Google Chrome.
2. Delete the toggle associated with extensions here to disable them.
3. In case you want to completely remove the extension from Chrome, click on the Get rid of button.
4. Relaunch Chrome and check if you can access the required Google service.
1. Start the Chrome browser.
2. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of your browser.
3. Select option New incognito window to open an incognito window in Chrome.
4. Try to access Google service and check whether the error still exists or not.
In case you encounter this error in Google Chrome, try opening the Google service in Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox. Check if access is possible without the error. This error may be related to the browser and not to the Google account or the Google server.
If none of the solutions helped you overcome the error, please report this issue to Google Help Center. Click on the Link and report the problem you are currently experiencing.
If none of the above methods worked for you, try accessing the Google service using your Android or iPhone device. This will not resolve the Google 500 error, but it will allow you to access your account, files, and services. The only option at this time is to wait for Google to resolve this issue on their server. Just keep checking if Google has restored the service and it works fine.
