LG is preparing to release a smartphone for the blockchain

According to media reports, the South Korean electronics manufacturer LG Corporation will soon release a smartphone for the blockchain.

The company has completed market research for blockchain companies and decentralized applications (dApps), according to
local media IT Chosun citing an industry source.

“LG is likely to respond to Samsung’s innovative initiative,” the source added.

Another LG Group spokeswoman told IT Chosun that the company is “struggling to apply blockchain to smartphones as organically as possible.”

Just last week rival LG – Samsung released
The new KlaytnPhone blockchain smartphone with a built-in cryptocurrency wallet. KlaytnPhone will be a variation of the recently released flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 10, which will support a cryptocurrency wallet and decentralized applications.

The smartphone received the name KlaytnPhone in honor of the Klaytn blockchain platform, which was developed by a subsidiary of the South Korean giant Kakao GroundX. In late July, it became known that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will appear
cryptocurrency wallet from Pundi X.
