AMD promises new Catalyst with improved rendering times on July 31

In 2013, the problems of uneven rendering times were noticed as never before. Particularly affected are computer systems with several graphics processors in Crossfire or SLI, where even high frame rates can be perceived as jerky due to certain frames being delayed and taking longer to render.

Now AMD announces that the long-promised improved drivers will be released on July 31 and that it is first and foremost Crossfire configurations that get extra attention. It has been previously reported that this software contains rewritten routines for the architecture GCN’s memory management, which would mean that the optimizations primarily apply to graphics cards in the Radeon HD 7000 series.
