AMD Radeon 7900 XT design is complete -

Who would have said it with the current situation that we all live with a shortage of raw materials, but today we have learned that the design of AMD Radeon 7900 XT has already ended.

Many gamers do not yet have a current generation graph for different reasons, but it seems that large companies do not care, because as we can read in the following tweet, the next high-end graphs of AMD Navi 31 are finished.

At first Navi 31 would already be ready to go into production of the first wafers, although several details are still missing from the architecture department to go on debugging and correcting any faults that may arise.

Let’s remember that Navi 31 will be the company’s new and first design AMD on using a MCM multichip module. It will also be manufactured in processes of N5 AND N6 from TSMC. Thanks to this innovative design, these graphics will have 3 Shader Engines and 120 Compute Engines. In this way we can obtain the chilling figure of 15360 FP32 Shading units.

Here we show you what the next architecture would be RDNA 3 with some diagrams that Olrak has made of Ships 31, Ships 32 y Ships 33, which as you can see, NAVI 31 and NAVI 32 are based on the multichip design, while the latter is supposedly monolithic.

Navi 31 and NAVI 32 would be destined to mount the next Radeon 7900, 7900 XT, 7800 XT and 7800, instead NAVI 33 would be destined to the Radeon 7700 XT and 7700. The rumored NAVI 34 supposedly would be for the 7600 XT and 7600. And all of them would initially arrive between the end of 2022 and mid-2023.
