AMD Radeon partner VTX3D is closing down

While AMD and Nvidia are alone in developing and manufacturing graphics circuits, there are a myriad of partner manufacturers, where some make graphics cards for both camps while others stick exclusively to one. Now it’s time for a Radeon-exclusive player to throw in the towel.

The technology site Guru3D reports that VTX3D is closing down its operations with immediate effect, at least under its own brand. TUL takes over TUL Corporation, best known for the Powercolor brand, which will honor guarantees for all VTX3D graphics cards sold.

VTX3D was founded in 2009 as a separate subsidiary of TUL with the aim of producing affordable and customized Radeon graphics cards.
