MOSCOW, 4 Sep — PRIME. US and EU taxpayers will pay the price for introducing a “theoretical” cap on Russian oil prices, US energy expert Anas Alkhadzhi warned. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
The media reported that the price limit for oil from Russia will come into force before the end of the year
He is confident that the introduction of an upper limit on Russian oil prices will lead Western countries to serious economic consequences.
“Do people realize how expensive it will be to introduce a ‘theoretical’ ceiling on Russian oil prices?” Alhaji asked, noting that taxpayers in the United States and the European Union would have to pay for this decision. He explained that the costs of citizens of Western countries will also increase due to the increase in the cost of delivering energy carriers.
