Another veteran returns to Intel to lead CPU and SoC development

Employees with vast experience continue to return to Intel. The appointment of the CEO of a technician rather than an effective manager has already caught the attention of Glenn Hinton, who has worked for the company for at least 35 years and has been involved in numerous developments, including the successful Nehalem architecture. Now another experienced specialist is joining the company.

Intel officially announced that Sunil Shenoy, who previously worked for the company for over 30 years, is returning to “Lead critical work in the design, development, validation, and manufacturing of Chip Blocks and Systems on a Chip (SoC)”… Prior to that, Sunil Shenoi served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at SiFive, a RISC-V architecture solutions company listed on Intel Capital’s investment programs.
