Asrock launches graphics cards in the Phantom Gaming series

Earlier this month, there was talk that the manufacturer Asrock was about to enter the market for graphics cards. This was confirmed shortly afterwards when they unveiled their new graphics card series Phantom Gaming, but without details on which models this includes.

Now the company goes out with information about this and announces that they will exclusively produce graphics cards in the AMD Radeon RX 500 series. These are the Radoen RX 550, RX 560, RX 570 and RX 580 models that will be part of Asrock’s new product range.

All use the company’s proprietary Phantom coolers and specially adapted circuit boards for higher performance. The radiator uses fans with double ball bearings, which according to Asrock should mean an extended life. The graphics cards also come with higher clock frequencies compared to the reference design.

The Phantom Gaming X Radeon RX580 has a base frequency of 1,380 MHz and a turbo frequency of 1,345 MHz. This is also equipped with three Displayports, an HDMI and a Dual-link DVI-D. The new models are available now, but the price tag for these is still unknown.
