The largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance plans to start trading in Bitcoin futures contracts, with leverage x20 available to users.
At the Asia Blockchain Summit in Taipei, Binance founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao showed the futures trading interface.
“Binance will launch the futures platform very soon. I don’t have an exact date yet. Version for testing and simulations will be available in a few weeks. This is a real screenshot of the running system. So futures will appear on Binance soon, ”Zhao said.
He also said that futures trading with leverage up to x20 would initially be available to users. However, leverage for margin trading in the future is planned to increase.
“At first, margin trading will be available to all users, it will happen around July 11. And about a week after that, a test platform for futures trading will start, ”a Binance representative said.
We note that the management of the exchange reported on the launch of margin trading
back at the end of June. However, users never got access to new features.
