The open source platform Gitcoin has announced a partnership with Ethereum Classic Labs for the bounty program. Users interested in contributing to projects can also be rewarded in ETC.

“This partnership is another step towards making ETC more accessible to the developer ecosystem, while providing value to the Ethereum Classic community. We are excited to work with such great partners, such as Gitcoin, for this integration and to participate in their hackathon focused on the future of decentralized finance. ”

said Terry Culver, CEO of ETC Labs.

Between March 16-30, Gitcoin will launch a hackathon for this Ethereum Classic integration. Developers and organizations have the chance to post and resolve ETC-funded bounties, while building the future of decentralized finance.

“We are pleased to bring our suite of tools to the ETC community, with ETC local support. The Ethereum Classic community and the Gitcoin community have many common values. This technical interoperability is in line with the cultural interoperability already present between the projects. This integration is a step forward for the growth of open source projects and the creation of more economic opportunities for hackers in both communities ”,

said Kevin Owocki, founder and CEO of Gitcoin.
