Non-custodial wallet

Abra’s wallet is a so-called non-custodial wallet. That means that you manage your private keys yourself. Your private keys give you access to your coins. This also ensures responsibility at the same time. Have you lost your password? Then you can no longer reach your coins.

But it is safer than saving your coins on a stock exchange. For example, if you have cryptocurrencies on an exchange such as Binance, then you do not manage your crypto currency yourself.
