Everyone is now very familiar with the new range of consumer processors from Intel based on the “Skylake” architecture on socket 1151, favored by a very large majority of users for lack of real competition (for the moment). Many questions arise, however, on the choice of the model of this range when buying or updating a configuration, a Core i5 or i7 for games? A Pentium or Core i3 for office automation? There is also a question of budget which often imposes sacrifices on performance, no wonder given that it ranges from around 60 € for the small Pentium G4400 to around 360 € for the larger Core i7 6700K.
How to navigate without knowing it? I will try to make you see a little more clearly thanks to this file opposing 4 models, the Pentium G4400, Core i3 6100, Core i5 6500 and Core i7 6700 in theoretical benchmarks but also in practice!
