It is not needed even by top-end video cards, and the best solid-state drives get a significant increase in speed from it, only in benchmarks and long sequential operations, but in the future, both graphics accelerators and ssd will be all bandwidth-demanding, and as they say: “It is better to have and not need what to need and not have. “In addition, the ASRock B560M Steel Legend has enough advantages, and in addition to PCI-E 4.0, this chic for the price category under consideration, a set of connectors and additional cooling under the power system and a good built-in Realtek sound card ALC897.

CPU

If the budget was raised from 90k to 100k, it would be possible to take an eight-core processor instead of a six-core, but more efficiently, in terms of improving the gaming experience, it will invest most of the additional funds in the video card, so the stone remains the same – Intel Core i5-10400F OEM. Relatively modern micro-architecture allows him not only to excel at work, but also to be competitive in games. Additional advantages of the Core i5-10400F OEM include rather modest power consumption and heat dissipation indicators, and therefore the requirements for the cooling system are low by modern standards. With a margin, an inexpensive air cooler for 1.5-2 thousand rubles will be enough.

CPU cooling

DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 400 V2 may well act as such a cooler. According to the manufacturer, the device is capable of dissipating up to 180 watts of heat from the processor, which is more than enough for the non-overclocked Core i5-10400F OEM.

RAM

If you are not going to overclock the RAM manually, then you can not bother with its choice especially. And take any modules with a frequency of 3200 MHz and timings of 16-18-18-36. But nevertheless, overclocking the RAM is a free increase in system performance, so it is advisable to choose memory with good overclocking potential. And such a difference in price is far from easy to explain, although there is a performance gap between them, it is far from critical. However, the cost of graphics accelerators has begun to decline, but slowly and unevenly. Therefore, we will probably see many more similar nuances, but now, within the framework of a configuration for 90 thousand rubles, most often we will have to use the GTX 1660 without any consoles, or seriously cut costs on other system components. However, you shouldn’t be very upset, the model in question allows you to enjoy most modern games with 60+ frames per second at high, or even at maximum graphics settings, we are naturally talking about FullHD resolution. Only the heaviest titles, such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Cyberpunk 2077, force you to lower the parameters to medium, although if your internal console player is more comfortable playing at 30-40 fps, you can leave ultra.

Power Supply

A hint of one of the main advantages of “be quiet!” hidden directly in the brand name. As a rule, the company’s devices operate very quietly, even under heavy load. Other strengths worth mentioning are hardware components, circuitry and build quality. According to these parameters, the “be quiet!” are not inferior to more expensive competitors. Like other Zalman chassis, i3 pleases with a well-thought-out organization of space and high-quality processing of elements. But what is upsetting is the limitation on the maximum height of the processor cooler radiator, here it is only 156 mm DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 400 V2, of course, will fit, but if you want to take a more efficient cooler with a higher radiator, replace the case, for example, with the ZALMAN Z3 plus 160mm. This is much better than the 156 at least because the Thermalright Macho Rev. C fits into them.

Game test

Now let’s check our assembly in games, as many of you have already guessed the resolution will be FullHD, as for the settings in most projects, they can be set to maximum, in the most demanding games it is better to choose medium ones. At ultra, the frame rate will be in the region of 30-40 frames, and not everyone is comfortable playing with such fps.
