The German game developer Crytek is known for being at the forefront of graphic effects and so also in the upcoming Crysis 3, where the player once again gets the opportunity to put on the nano suit and dive into a jungle-clad version of New York. The official system requirements are now released.
System Requirements: Crysis 3

Crysis 3 requires a dual-core processor and a DX11 graphics card with 1 GB of video memory. Examples include the Geforce GTS 450 or Radeon HD 5770 together with the Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or the Athlon 64 X2 2.7 GHz. In addition, 2 GB of system memory and Windows Vista or later operating system are required.
Anyone who wants to screw up the settings a bit, however, should take a look at the recommended system requirements. This is a Geforce GTX 560, Radeon HD 5870 or better with Core i3-530, Phenom II X2 565 and up. 4 GB of system memory is also added here.
Finally, a configuration for “high performance” is also listed. Not entirely unexpectedly, the latest generation of graphics cards in combination with a modern quad-core processor and 8 GB of system memory apply. Examples include the Geforce GTX 680 and Radeon HD 7970, as well as the Core i7-2600k and FX-4150.
Crysis 3 will be released for PC / Windows, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime in February next year.
