For an extra hundred bucks, buyers can secure a limited edition of Walnut, which comes with a limited joystick and controller. Today, the sense of spending over a thousand zlotys on this retro console is much greater, because Atari VCS has got the Google Workspace environment.

Atari has thus taken another step towards creating a fully functional PC with a small size for the living room. Starting today, alongside games, the browser and streaming applications, Atari VCS now also provides native access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Slides, Sheets and Docs. In them, we function through the Atari VCS Companion or simply a mouse and keyboard controlled by the Atari application.

So now the use of this console enclosed in a compact and stylish housing has been significantly expanded. Atari VCS can now be used not only for gaming and watching, but also for work or study. In other words, the company made this platform something like a miniature computer for the living room, which we plug into the TV and we enjoy a much more extensive Smart back-up.

Especially that on the system side, we can install both Windows and Linux, and even ChromeOS according to our own preferences. On the other hand, the issue of specifications is limited to the Ryzen R1606G APU with a Vega 3 graphics core, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and 32 GB of eMMC mass memory, specially adapted to the equipment. The latter can be expanded if necessary.
