MOSCOW, 12 Sep — PRIME. Residents of the Khabarovsk Territory have returned electricity to all their homes after the Hinamnor typhoon, the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
A strong wind damaged power lines and cut off wires, more than 40 settlements remained completely or partially without electricity.
“As of the morning of September 12, work on the repair of electrical networks in the Khabarovsk Territory has been fully completed. Energy supply to all settlements is carried out in the normal mode,” the central office said in a statement.
According to rescuers, in the region in the zone of influence of the flood there are six municipalities, in which 20 household plots, 35 summer cottages and nine land plots, 14 intra-settlement and three sections of inter-settlement roads are flooded.
It is noted that the crest of the Amur flood is located near the village of Mariinskoye, Ulchsky district. A steady decline continues in most of the Amur River. In the Ulchsky and Nikolaevsky districts, level fluctuations and a slight increase of up to four centimeters per day are recorded. The level of the Amur near Khabarovsk on Monday morning is 2.71 meters (minus three centimeters per day), with an unfavorable mark of 4.5 meters, a dangerous one – six. At Komsomolsk-on-Amur – the level is 5.39 meters (minus 14 centimeters per day), with an unfavorable mark of 4.5 meters, a dangerous one – 6.5.
Hinamnor hit the region from 6 to 8 September. The typhoon brought showers and squally winds. In the Khabarovsk Territory, trees were knocked down and structures were torn down. The rains flooded the adjoining territories, vegetable gardens, roads, water entered some houses and shops.
