Everspace 2 Early Access has surpassed the wildest expectations of developers

Exactly a week ago, the space action movie Everspace 2 was released on Steam under the Early Access program. Despite its unfinished status, the project received public recognition and, according to the results of the first week of sales, even found itself in second place on the corresponding Steam chart. Against the background, frankly, the modest success of the first Everspace, the result of the sequel can be called an unconditional success, and the developers from Rockfish Games themselves agree with this

In a conversation with the journalists of the portal GamingBolt, the head of the studio, Michael Shade statedthat sales of Everspace 2 exceeded their wildest expectations: just a few hours after the release, more than three thousand players were recorded on the network, which is more than double the result of the first part after its first major sale.

According to the plan, Everspace 2 will be in Early Access for one to one and a half years. The authors are going to share the first plans for the further development of the game in the coming days.
