EVGA Geforce GTX 580 Classified attracts overclockers with lavish features

EVGA Geforce GTX 580 Classified is the name of a new graphics card that will challenge luxury models such as Asus GTX 580 Matrix Platinum and Gigabyte GTX 580 Super Overclock. As usual, EVGA continues to invest in overclockers and builds in a number of features that will take the clock frequencies to new levels.

First of all, the new graphics card is equipped with a new type of cooler that covers an unusually large circuit board. Extra lavish power supply is promised, including the NEC Proadlizer and two 8-pin connectors and another six-pin. In addition, LEDs are added that mark the load as well as contact surfaces for monitoring the voltage.

The graphics card also contains dual firmware circuits that make it possible to update to a new or experimental version without losing the old one. EVGA also promises to supply different versions of the software for various purposes.

Last but not least, two DVI connections and an as yet unknown connector can be seen on the graphics card’s connection plate. Price and launch date are still unknown.
