EVGA releases Geforce GTX 680 SC Signature

The standard model of Geforce GTX 680 may be good for most things, but the manufacturers want to stand out from the crowd to arouse customers’ interest. EVGA is now releasing another graphics card based on GK104.

The new model is called EVGA Geforce GTX 680 SC Signature and is based on the reference design. The main difference is higher clock speeds: 1,084 MHz GPU, 1,150 MHz boost and 2 GB of GDDR5 memory at 6,208 MHz. It can be compared with the standard variants 1,006, 1,058 and 6,008 MHz respectively.

In addition, there is a 5-phase power supply, 8 + 6-pin PCI Express connectors and an ornate cooler with a white upper. Outputs are offered in the form of dual DVI, HDMI 1.4a and Displayport 1.2.

EVGA Geforce GTX 680 SC Signature is released in two variants, with and without backplate. The latter has the suffix “+” in the model name. Despite this, both models cost USD 529.99 on the company’s website, corresponding to approximately SEK 4,500 including VAT.
