PARIS, 5 Oct – PRIME. Gas storage facilities in France are more than 99% full, the French Committee for Energy Regulatory (CRE) said on Wednesday.

Gas prices in Europe fell on the news about Gazprom’s supplies to Italy
“The winter 2022/2023 storage campaign ends when storage is more than 99% full,” the regulator said in a statement on Wednesday.
Thus, as noted, France is ready for the coming winter.
“As of October 5, gas supplies from suppliers already amount to 130 TWh, which is higher than the average for recent years,” the Committee said. The regulator emphasized that these volumes of gas account for approximately 2/3 of the winter consumption of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as individuals.
