MOSCOW, September 9 — PRIME. Gazprom is supplying gas through Ukraine in the volume confirmed by the Ukrainian side to the Sudzha GIS – 42.5 million cubic meters as of September 9, said Sergey Kupriyanov, spokesman for the Russian company.

Media: the EU fears the cessation of gas supplies from Russia while limiting prices

According to him, Gazprom is supplying Russian gas for transit through the territory of Ukraine in the amount confirmed by the Ukrainian side through the Sudzha GIS – 42.5 million cubic meters as of September 9.

Kupriyanov added that the Ukrainian side again rejected the application for the GIS “Sokhanovka”.

Since May 11, Ukraine has stopped receiving gas for transit through the Sokhranovka GIS, citing the fact that it is under the control of Russian forces (on the territory of the LPR). As a result, only one entrance remained for gas transit to Europe – the Sudzha GIS. Gazprom stated that transferring all volumes to Sudzha is technologically impossible, the company fulfills all obligations to European consumers, and transit services are fully paid.
