Gazprom Neft has built a deep oil refining complex in Omsk

MOSCOW, 14 Oct – PRIME. Gazprom Neft has completed the construction of a deep oil refining complex at the Omsk Oil Refinery, as a result of which the depth of “black gold” processing at the plant has reached almost 100%. This was announced by the head of the company Alexander Dyukov.

“At the Omsk refinery, we have completed the construction of a complex for deep oil refining – this is a large-scale project … This is an ultra-modern production complex equipped with digital control systems. As a result, the refining depth in Omsk has reached almost 100%,” he said in an interview with Russia 24.

According to Dyukov, the facility will increase the production of diesel fuel, gasoline and kerosene, as well as reduce the burden on the environment, while improving industrial safety.

As a result, the production of diesel fuel should increase by 34% compared to the level of 2019, gasoline – by eight percent, jet fuel – by ten percent, the company’s press service added.

Representatives of Gazprom Neft emphasized that the company’s investments in this project exceeded 160 billion rubles.
