Gazprom supplies gas to Europe through Ukraine according to applications for October 15

MOSCOW, 15 Oct — PRIME. “Gazprom” supplies gas to Europe in transit through the territory of Ukraine through the gas measuring station (GIS) “Sudzha” in the volume confirmed by the Ukrainian side, which amounted to 43.1 million cubic meters on October 15, the application for the GIS “Sohranovka” was rejected, the official representative of the Russian company Sergey Kupriyanov.

Ukraine stopped accepting gas for gas transit through the GIS “Sokhranivka” from May 11, indicating that it is under the control of Russian forces (on the territory of the LPR). As a result, there was only one entrance left for gas transit to Europe – GIS “Sudzha”. Gazprom stated that transferring all volumes to Sudzha is technologically impossible, the company fulfills all obligations to European consumers, and transit services are fully paid.

Since the end of May, deliveries of Russian gas through the gas transmission system of Ukraine to Europe have been at the level of 40-43 million cubic meters per day.
