Geforce GTX 560 looks forward to Newegg

At the beginning of next week, Nvidia will release a new graphics card in the Geforce 500 series, more specifically the mid-range Geforce GTX 560. The online store Newegg anticipates the events and reveals a model from the manufacturer Palit.

The graphics card currently on sale comes from Palit and is based on the GF114 graphics processor with 336 CUDA cores, 810 MHz GPU and 1,620 MHz shader. There is 1 GB of GDDR5 memory at 4,008 MHz as well as outputs for DVI, VGA and HDMI. Other details are power supply via two 6-pin PCI Express and Palit’s own coolers.

With powerful slogans such as “the perfect upgrade for gaming in 1080p” and “the best gaming experience for the price”, it is stated that the new Geforce GTX 560 will be significantly faster than the Geforce GTX 460 1 GB in DX10-based titles and also beat the competitor Radeon HD 6870, the latter in both DX10 and DX11.

  • 24 percent faster than GTX 460 1 GB in DX10

  • 10 percent faster than the Radeon HD 6870 in the DX10

  • 20 percent faster than the Radeon HD 6870 in the DX11
