Geforce GTX 680 priced in the US

On Thursday, March 22, Nvidia will launch the first graphics card in the Kepler generation, no less than the flagship Geforce GTX 680. A few days ago, a Dutch retailer published the first price information, and now it’s time for another, this time in the US.

However, prices on the other side of the Atlantic are generally lower than in Europe, and it is possible, if not probable, that the graphics card will exceed the SEK 5,000 mark at the usual Swedish retailers.

The Geforce GTX 680 is based on the GK104 graphics processor with 1,536 CUDA cores, 256-bit memory bus and 2 GB of GDDR5 memory. The clock frequencies amount to over 1 GHz GPU and a full 6 GHz memory, while the TDP value is expected to stay at an unusually low 195 W. Sales start on March 22.
