Gigabyte Geforce GTX 680 pictured

Nvidia’s launch of the first graphics card in generation 28 nanometers is one of the highlights and hard currency of the year among enthusiasts who can not keep up with the big launch day. New images of the upcoming Geforce GTX 680 graphics card will be published on the Overclock.net forum.

This time, however, it is not about an early test version but about a store-packaged copy from Gigabyte. The graphics card in the picture bears all the previous features, such as a themed logo (Geforce GTX) on the top and two 6-pin PCI Express connectors for the power supply. The main difference is that Gigabyte adorned the cover with its own sticker.

The box also confirms the model name Geforce GTX 680 and that the graphics card comes with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, according to previous rumors of a 256-bit memory bus with a total bandwidth of approximately 192 GB / s. The launch will take place on Thursday 22 March.
