Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Master and Z690 Aorus Elite AX listed in Australia, little price change

A few days from the first 12th Intel Core CPU listings. Generation “Alder Lake-S”, the first lists of Z690 motherboards compatible with these CPUs came to light: A store in Australia listed Gigabyte’s Z690 Aorus Master and Z690 Aorus Elite AX, revealing their prices, which luckily did not they will be much higher than the Z590.

According to screenshots provided by momomo_us, the Z690 Aorus Master will cost AUD 768.90 (US $ 573) while the Z690 Aorus Elite AX will cost AUD 439.90 (US $ 327). To compare against the previous generation, momomo_us also added a screenshot where it can be seen that the Z590 Aorus Master costs AUD 745.80 (US $ 556), so the price difference between Z690 and Z590 will be relatively small.

Curiously, the list mentions that the motherboards will have an LGA 1200 socket, DDR4 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 memories when in reality they will have an LGA 1700 socket, DDR5 and USB 4.0 memories, so unfortunately no specifications could be obtained from this list. Still, thanks to the platform details officially revealed by Intel itself, we already know what to expect on high-end motherboards, so we don’t think we’ll see too many surprises in future listings.

Z690 motherboards and 12th Intel Core processors are expected. Generation “Alder Lake-S” will be announced on October 27 and hit the market on November 19. We will keep you informed of the news that arise.
