Mining overclocking settings for Nvidia cards:

If you have installed any other overclocking utility, please uninstall it first, otherwise it will mess up MSI Afterburner settings .

  1. Download MSI Afterburner .
  2. Install and open.
  3. Set tdp from 75% to 120%. If the cost of electricity is not an issue, you can set it to 120%, otherwise 80-85% will be fine.
  4. Initially, the core frequency is set to 0. Start increasing it with an offset of +10 until the system crashes. +50 will work with most maps.
  5. Initially, the memory frequency is set to 0. Start increasing it with an offset of +50 until the system freezes. +100 will work with most maps.
  6. Set custom fan curve, see below image for reference. Make sure your GPU fan is not constantly running at 100% speed, I prefer 80%.
  7. This is your card overclocked and you mine with optimal settings.

I have a 7 GTX 1080 Ti rig and all of my cards run below 70 ° C. I am currently mining zcoin which has an energy efficient mining algorithm and when mining zcoin my card runs below 50 ° C.

Mining overclocking settings for Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti
