MOSCOW, 7 Oct – PRIME. Mobile traffic on the three most popular Russian homework services fell by almost 40% in September compared to the same period in 2021. This is evidenced by the results of a study of the mobile operator “MegaFon”, prepared for RIA Novosti.
“In September of this year, mobile Internet traffic in the three most popular GDZ services (ready homework – ed.) decreased by almost 40% compared to the same month last year,” the experts noted.
According to MegaFon, the largest volume of mobile traffic came from GDZ.ru (86.29%) and reshak.ru (6.93%). The portal megaresheba.ru closes the list with 6.78%.
At the end of August, the head of the Ministry of Education, Minister of Russia Sergey Kravtsov, announced a ban on the use of mobile phones in the classroom from the new academic year. If you need to call your parents, you should contact the teacher, he added.
In early September, the State Services: for Parents Telegram channel explained that Russian schoolchildren would be able to use phones during breaks and for emergency communications, there were no more innovations in using gadgets at school.
At the same time, the press service of Megafon indicated that by the beginning of autumn, the demand for children’s smart watches had increased.
