How iPhone warranty works: Explained in Simplistic Way

How to check if your device has a standard or AppleCare + warranty and what each warranty offers. Before buying a new iPhone to replace a broken one, you should first check if you are covered under warranty. Types of guarantees iPhone

There are two types of Apple iPhone warranties that cover repairs: Standard iPhone Warranty and AppleCare +. If you own a new iPhone, you are automatically covered by the garanzia iPhone standard. It covers one year of hardware repairs (at low or no cost) and includes 90 days of telephone technical support from an Apple consultant. AppleCare+ is an extended warranty program for iPhone, Apple Watch, and iPad. An AppleCare + plan can only be purchased within 60 days of the device purchase date. AppleCare + extends the standard warranty to two years and covers up to two accidental damage (such as dropping the phone and breaking the screen every 12 months. How to check if your iPhone is under warranty?

If you have a problem with your iPhone or just want to check if you’re still covered by Apple’s standard warranty or AppleCare +, follow these steps. Open theSettings app. Touch General. Touch Information on. On the About page, you should see your serial number as the fifth item listed. Press and hold your finger on the serial number.
