How to Put Text in a Power Point Circle – Inside and Outside the Shape

Microsoft is a great company that offers a wide variety of products and services. For instance, the famous PowerPoint program, which is used to make very creative presentations. Here is a trick to get the most out of this tool: how to put text inside a circle in PowerPoint.

What are the benefits of using text in figures for PowerPoint presentations?

PowerPoint allows for quite creative presentations, so it is understandable that there are so many figures and shapes to insert. However, these can serve more than just adorning the document that is believed there. Here are two other benefits of using shapes in PowerPoint presentations.

Focus attention

The first benefit that can be mentioned is that it helps to focus attention. Depending on the size and number of elements on the slide, the reader’s attention may be diverted, so these allow you to hold your attention to a specific point. In addition, this way you can retain the gaze in a point that is vital for the person.

Classify your ideas

Another advantage is that ideas can be classified more easily. By distributing the information that is on the slide within shapes or other elements, it is much easier organize ideas in a logical order; for example, in mind or concept maps, schematics, diagrams, or other similar forms.

Improve the organization of your slides

In addition to the reasons already mentioned, elements added to PowerPoint slides allow you to visually organize your document. And you have to be honest: if a slide is not striking in the first three seconds of viewing, it will be difficult for the person to stay reading it. Because, using shapes is a good way to organize them.

Now, with shapes and forms being so advantageous to use on these slides, then it’s worth knowing how you can add them to them. Therefore, below we will briefly explain what procedure can be followed in order to add forms to our presentations.

What methods can be used to put text in the shape of a circle on a slide?

Within PowerPoint, various methods can be used to insert shapes, figures, and other graphic elements. Two of them will be said below, and it will explain exactly what can be done by following these procedures.

With the WordArt

The first way is through the WordArt. This option can be achieved in the ‘Insert’ tab. Thanks to this function you can add personalized text and give a colorful touch to that text box; outlines, padding, typeface, size, position, and the like can be altered. This method is super efficient.

Using the drawing tools

Another way to insert graphic elements is by using the drawing tools. Again, these can be found in the ‘Insert’ tab. In the ‘Illustrations’ section you can see the option to insert shapes; and these, like the WordArts, can be modified in various ways to be able to customize them.

Now though PowerPoint lets you create presentations great with watermarks and backgrounds, the truth is that there are other programs to make designs. Two of them will be discussed below.

What programs can be used to create text inside circles outside of PowerPoint?

PowerPoint works for creating great presentations. Nevertheless, not formally a graphic design tool, nor the creation of pieces of art. We can leave this work to the two tools mentioned below.

Canva

Canva is an online tool which has gained popularity in recent years. Although it is not as professional a tool as Adobe’s, the truth is that it is quite efficient, especially since it is possible to insert circles and other shapes and write text within them, modify outlines and make other similar modifications.

Photoshop

Par excellence, this is the best photo editing tool. In Photoshop you can make professional designs, and of course, insert circles. Knowing how to use this tool can allow you not only to insert text and circles, but also to professionally edit photos and create cool effects, such as the winter effect.
