MOSCOW, 27 Aug – PRIME. Despite the heat, sales of electric blankets and portable heaters have increased across the European Union as Europeans prepare for huge energy bills this coming winter, according to Business Insider.
Macron assured that in France everything will be fine with gas in the winter
Residents of Germany for six months purchased 35% more heaters than in the same period last year. And in the UK, nearly 13 times more electric heated blankets were sold than in all of 2021. Sales of heaters also increased significantly in Switzerland.
Business Insider in this regard notes that Europeans are looking for ways to heat so that in winter they do not have to use heating systems.
The publication recalls that Europeans were advised to “warm a person, not a house,” for example, wear heated jackets and gloves.
