MOSCOW, August 28 – PRIME. The German government has set up a holding company to handle the possible nationalization of Gazprom’s former subsidiary, Gazprom Germania, the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag reported on Sunday.
The permit for LNG supplies to the former structure of Gazprom expired in August
The publication emphasizes that the organization was created in secret.
At the same time, as Welt am Sonntag was told in the German Ministry of Economic Affairs, the company was established in May this year, and the German government ventured to take this step “solely as a precautionary measure.”
