MOSCOW, 11 Oct — PRIME. The European Union does not help Poland enough to overcome the energy crisis, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said.

“We have a shortage of gas, a shortage of electricity, with very high prices for gas and electricity … We have been having a heated discussion with the Minister of (Climate and Environment Anna) Moscow for many months on the European arena, and I must say that we do not have much help from there By and large, we are asking you to allow us to take steps that we finance,” he said.
According to the prime minister, the Polish authorities have to convince European officials to change the pricing mechanisms, not to use certain regulations for small and medium-sized businesses.
Morawiecki noted that the European Union should weaken its environmental principles to reduce energy prices, as well as develop a new energy policy.
