Inno3D prepares Geforce RTX 3000 cards with science fiction design

Calling the autumn launches of new generations of graphics cards and associated architectures long-awaited would not be an exaggeration. Both Nvidia and AMD are launching news that promises to offer a range of graphics news included in DirectX 12 Ultimate. Nvidia will be the first to release the Geforce RTX 3000 series cards with the Ampere architecture under the hood, and as usual, details about the new products will be revealed by partner manufacturers ahead of time.

Previous leaks have shown images of other partner manufacturers’ products, and now Inno3D is facing the same fate (via Videocardz). A total of four models are captured in the picture where the top model consists of Geforce RTX 3090 Ichill X4. In addition to confirming the 24 GB GDDR6X memory volume and a 384-bit memory interface, the product images also offer a spaceship-like design.

Just like Asus’ leaked product images, three axial fans are shown here, where Inno3D, unlike Asus, allows all three to rotate in the same direction. In addition to the three fans on the top of the card, there is also a fan mounted on the side, where the quartet gives the product name X4. Here, too, the cooling solution looks to be a solid story that occupies 2.5 card slots or more.

This arrangement means that the product name Ichill X3 logically refers to models that adhere to the three top-mounted fans. What the differences will be between X4 and X3 models is not clear in the pictures, but I guess higher factory overclocking can be obtained with Ichill X4 models. The last two graphics cards in the lineup are Gaming X3 and Twin X2 OC.

Although the Gaming X3 variant of the Geforce RTX 3090 seen in the picture does not boast the same space-dosing style language, it is equipped with three fans and thus probably also occupies at least 2.5 slots. The simplest variant in the lineup is the Twin X2 OC which, as the name suggests, sticks to two fans and can be the member of the Inno3D family that sticks to two slots.

Inno3D and other partner manufacturers will probably publish product pages more permanently after Nvidia unveils the Geforce RTX 3000 series tonight at 18:00 Swedish time. Those who want to wait for the event can do so on Nvidia’s event page or keep an eye on the company’s Geforce channel on Youtube.
