After two months of waiting, Intel announced its new 65W and 35W Alder Lake CPUs alongside the H670, B660 and H610 chipsets, enabling a much cheaper upgrade path to 12th. Generation of Intel Core processors.

As always, in none of these three chipsets is it allowed to overclock the CPU, although in the case of H670 and B660 the memories can be overclocked. H610 curiously, in addition to not supporting memory overclocking, it also does not support dual-channel memories, which does not make much sense and it is another unnecessary artificial limitation for Intel to buy higher cost products.

Different chipsets also have different amounts of I / O, with H670 having practically the same I / O as Z690, B660 having only 6 PCI-E 4.0 lanes and 8 PCI-E 3.0 lanes, and H610 supporting only 8 PCI-E lanes. 3.0, without any PCI-E 4.0 lane from the chipset.
